Dr Mark J Lock is CIA of the AVID study which has genesis in his University of Melbourne PhD Thesis (2009) – The Participation of Indigenous people in National Indigenous health policy processes. He is author of the prize winning article ‘The bright sides of assimilation’ for the 2012 Dr Ross Ingram Memorial Essay.
